I chose to take this course to be exposed to more creative ways to be able to expand my brand page and showcase my work on a newer, more refreshing, and more aesthetically pleasing level. I believe that if I am going to be putting something out there it needs to be done right and it needs to different. Different to me is BOLD and exceeds expectations. In my pursuit of exploring the cosmetology industry and my passions as I teach myself the basics within the industry and develop my skills, I want to make sure that I remain a strong differentiator as my brand grows. I also want to ensure that I am engaging with my audience in a way that remains true to myself and is adds a layer of depth to my take on the elements of beauty for people to you. Since taking this class I think I have positioned myself in a much better way with some of what I have learned in the class. Thus, I have decided to turn in my Brand Page’s Instagram for my Final. For this weeks post, I chose to do a quarantine photoshoot with my look “Fashion-Forward Highlighters” and her look “Orange you Bad.” Other posts are of Marist students that allowed me to do their hair and/or took part in a photoshoot for me to feature makeup looks on my page. I also made a video highlighting a bit about myself, how and why the page was started, and went into details about products I used for my hair and makeup. I even did a live demo to complete my look on campus. I wanted this video to be personable, relatable, laid back, informational, yet still worthwhile as I showcased my authentic self and showcased what I love to do. I hope you enjoy and thank you for helping me utilize and elevate my very own perspective of Digital Toolbox. I will definitely continue to utilize what I have learned to further develop my platform as I move along in this process. Thank You!
